We have written before about the Security Innovation Network and their many virtuous activities. One of their key activities is a process and then meeting focused on discovery of technologies with the potential to make positive contributions to enterprise security. The event, known as the SINET Showcase, will occur on December 4 and 5. But the process begins now. Here is more info:

The SINET showcase is a yearly event where 16 innovative companies have an opportunity to present their discriminating capabilities to an audience of key national security decision-makers, researchers and investors. SINET has established and oversees a process to solicit candidate companies, evaluate them, rack and stack the results and run multiple voting rounds to determine which 16 will present. This process is all very open and transparent, and uses criteria provided on the SINET site and a steering committee of people also listed on the SINET site. This is a great way to help highlight great technologies.

The most important step is one that we would very much appreciate your help with. If you know of a company that provides a cyber security related capability please get their name into the process for evaluation. The deadline for nominations is fast approaching.
