Here is today’s federal cybersecurity and information technology news:

  • The U.S. Agency for International Development has plans to improve its  Federal Information Security Management Act cybersecurity score, which fell from an ‘A’ to an ‘F’ last year. More here.
  • The National Institute of Standards and Technology and the Department of Homeland Security will release two documents to help federal agencies manage mobile cybersecurity. More here.
  • The White House’s national security telecommunications advisory committee suggests steering national security and emergency preparedness agencies to move mission-critical systems into the cloud. More here.
  • The Pacific Northwest National Laboratory has released  the Technology Security Assessment for Capabilities and Applicability in Energy Sector Industrial Control Systems, which evaluates cybersecurity challenges to critical infrastructure. More here.
