Security Innovation Network (SINET) Expands to Create “The SINET Group” with Appointment of Prominent Cybersecurity Executives and Announcement of Member Program and Advisory Services

The Security Innovation Network(TM) (SINET), an organization focused on the advancement of cybersecurity innovation through public-private collaboration, has expanded to create “The SINET Group” which includes a new Member Program and Advisory Services. The group also announced the appointment of two new principals, Robert Lentz, Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber Information Assurance, and Richard “Dick” Schaeffer, Former Information Assurance Director for the National Security Agency (NSA).

In addition, The SINET Group also revealed today preliminary findings from its “State of Cyber Innovation” research (see below). The research is conducted by The SINET Group on a continual basis and is based on data that is collected and analyzed from SINET events and the SINET 16 Innovator application evaluation process. The team translates these findings to identify emerging trends, sectors and the companies best positioned to impact those trends for consideration by the broader cybersecurity community.
