App47, an innovative provider of Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions, today announced that it has entered into an original equipment manufacturing (OEM) agreement with Fixmo Inc., the mobile risk management (MRM) company that empowers organizations to mitigate risks around mobile deployments.

Fixmo will incorporate App47’s solution into their Mobile Risk Management (MRM) platform giving government and enterprise customers the ability to manage their mobile applications. The solution will provide application management via an on-premise offering that will allow Fixmo to deploy sophisticated application management and intelligence to government agencies or commercial enterprises that have a need to protect critical information behind firewalls.

App47 delivers a powerful command center for enterprise applications across the lifecycle that optimizes the mobile user experience without compromising the security and privacy of enterprise data. App47’s cloud-based solutions can be deployed in minutes, providing key application analytics and performance data to assist in design, deployment, configuration, and security of mobile Apps.

“Having intelligence about all aspects of your mobile deployment, including applications, is necessary to truly understand your mobile threat posture,” said Rick Segal, co-founder and CEO of Fixmo. “App47’s solutions offer a deeper level of intelligence that is needed to assess the risks associated with mobile devices. As we continue to strengthen our application management capabilities, mobile application intelligence and analytics are a natural complement to our solutions that help our customers manage and maintain the integrity of their enterprise mobile deployments.”

Fixmo Sentinel, a cross-platform MRM solution, mitigates the risk of mobile deployments by focusing on device assurance, policy compliance and auditability. Sentinel ensures that mobile devices and infrastructure servers start and stay in a known trusted state. MRM includes the key capabilities of mobile device and infrastructure management. In addition, MRM provides enterprises with critical information required to understand, monitor, and act on risks associated with mobile devices.

“Organizations are increasingly looking for trusted, enterprise-grade tools that will allow them to not only support a mobile workforce, but to also address the risks associated with mobile devices,” said Chris Schroeder, co-founder and CEO of App47. “We’re excited to work with Fixmo to bring our lifecycle MAM solutions into their established MRM platform. Together, these best-in-class capabilities for application management, deployment, analytics and security will meet the needs of organizations deploying mobility programs.”
