Internet Security Alliance chief attacks Obama cybersecurity plan

The head of the Internet Security Alliance (ISA), a coalition of Internet companies and researchers, is blasting the Obama administration’s cybersecurity proposal for focusing too much on regulating and punishing companies rather than on improving cybersecurity.

Larry Clinton, ISA president and chief executive officer, said the proposal fails to take into account how cybersecurity threats have evolved over the past few years.
