The Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) seventh annual conference on cybersecurity began on Sunday in Nashville.
The event is hosted by the Homeland Security agency in charge of responding to cyber-attacks on the nation’s non-military networks, the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT).
According to the event’s organizers, the Government Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (GFIRST) National Conference and Vendor Expo is “the only event that brings together incident responders and cybersecurity professionals to exchange information and share best practices about the most critical security issues affecting the nation’s cyber infrastructure.”
