Telos, an Ashburn, VA-based federal IT products and services provider, received a $4 million order from the US military to provider cybersecurity support to the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC).

According to the order, which was placed under the Air Force’s $9 billion Network Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) contract vehicle, Telos will provide cybersecurity staff for DMDC security engineering and security operations, as well as maintain the accreditation of DMDC infrastructure, information systems, applications, and automated tools in accordance with federal information security regulations.

Telos cybersecurity experts will also assist DMDC in analyzing network architecture designs, evaluate new technologies, recommend security enhancements, and monitor and respond to cybersecurity events.
