The Air Force has awarded Telos a task order to sustain its secure messaging system, the Defense Messaging System (DMS) organizational messaging capability used across the Department of Defense (DOD).

The Telos Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) is the application that implements the message handling portion of the DMS within the Air Force worldwide.

Under the task order, awarded from the Network Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) contract vehicle, Telos will provide labor and services to the Air Force Defense Message System Program Management Office, Air Force Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (AFPEO for EIS), at Maxwell Air Force Base, (Gunter Annex), Alabama. The contract runs for one base year with a one-year option period and is valued at almost $4 million if the option is exercised.
