Justice files charges in iPad data breach

The FBI has arrested two hackers for online theft of e-mail addresses and other personal information. Andrew Auernheimer and Daniel Spitler were trolls who allegedly hacked AT&T servers to get information about 120,000 iPad users. They developed a program called iPad 3G Account Slurper. The program tricked applications on AT&T’s wireless network into giving up iPad user information. The two were charged with conspiracy and possession of personal information.
